Session focus

Wallet interfaces hide complexity behind friendly buttons. This session slows down and examines what each screen element actually represents — public keys, associated token accounts, and confirmation prompts.

We walk through creating a secondary devnet wallet, exporting keys in a controlled exercise, and discussing backup locations that suit your household or office setup. The tone stays practical: we describe risks without alarm, and options without pushing a product.

Typical outcomes

Learners leave able to explain why a seed phrase must never be photographed, how to verify a receiving address character by character, and when to use a hardware signer versus a browser extension.

Included

  • Seed phrase storage worksheet
  • Comparison of hot vs hardware wallet options (informational)
  • Practice importing and exporting a test wallet on devnet

Not included

  • Hardware wallet sales or setup for mainnet funds
