Who this session is for

You have heard of Solana but cannot yet explain how a transaction moves from your wallet to the ledger. Perhaps a colleague mentioned NFTs on Solana, or you stumbled across a podcast and want context before going further. This session assumes nothing beyond basic computer literacy.

What happens during the two hours

We begin at the whiteboard, drawing the relationship between your wallet, the RPC node, and validators. Terms like "lamport," "account," and "signature" get plain-English definitions tied to what you will see on screen.

Next we install or configure a devnet-compatible wallet. You practice writing down a seed phrase using our paper template — a step many learners rush through, so we allocate proper time for it.

The final segment is hands-on: requesting devnet SOL from a faucet, sending a small amount to a second address we provide, and reading the transaction on Solana Explorer together. We pause at each field until you can describe what it represents.

After the session

Most learners continue with the Wallet Walkthrough if they want deeper key-management practice, or move to Devnet Lab for repeated transaction drills. Your tutor will suggest a path based on how the session went.

Pricing basis

£85 covers up to two hours for one learner. Additional participants in a private booking are £35 each. Group sessions (three to four people) are £55 per person when scheduled on our public calendar.
